How to Use Social Media to Build Trust

Social media marketing can feel like another thing on your to-do list and is often put on the back burner of marketing activities. Social media results are hard to measure and can take time to gain traction, but despite all the apparent cons there is one BIG positive to using social media in your marketing plan. Social media is the perfect platform for building trust  with your ideal client before they ever contact your business. So if you are wondering how to use social media for business then you are the right place, just scroll down to know more about social media marketing. But before that get a clear idea about various verticals of digital marketing and learn how to use social media for branding and promotion.

If you are new to a platform then you must be wondering how to use social media to find followers and turn them into a trusted customer, there here we are sharing some tips:

Here are the 5 Ways to Build Trust

Living in this digital world for very long, almost everyone already knows “why and how to use social media”, then let’s get to the next step that would help you know “how to use social media for building trust”. Dive in the points below to know about it in detail:

Display Expertise And Authority

One of the greatest things about social media is the social aspect. You are able to host conversations on your pages or even join groups where your ideal clients are hanging out. When conversations happen around your area of expertise, it is not only expected but encouraged to join in the conversation. When done correctly (non-salesy), you are a voice of expertise and authority. When you are consistently active people who may never be a client will still refer you as the expert because they have witnessed your expertise on social media.

Be Helpful

Many people go to social media profiles as a part of their research process when deciding whether or not to hire a company. By participating in conversation and responding to clients posting about your company (negative or positive), you are building up a library of examples of how you help past, present and future clients.

Encourage User Generated Content (UGC)

If you’re in the hunt of the answer “how to build a social media following”, then your current fan base can get this happen! Social media encourages participation and if you have customers who are raving fans you can encourage them to share their experiences with your company through reviews, pictures of your work and anything else that would be interesting on social media. A huge benefit of UGC is that it is promoting your business without you doing the promotion. This type of post is like a word of mouth referral and is an amazing reason to utilize social media in your marketing plan.

Own Your Mistakes

Many people use social media to report problems, leave reviews and even complain. Customers can tag businesses and often get quicker responses than going through typical customer service channels. While this may seem like a reason to stay off social media, it is actually a great way to show potential clients how you respond to feedback, complaints and even disgruntled customers. Often, business owners are terrified of a bad review, but the way they handle it is remembered longer than the complaint. This builds trust that you treat your customers well and that you address problems head on.

People like to work with businesses that they know, like and trust and social media channels are a great place to start building relationships. The key to attain strong social media building is being transparent, authentic and a good representative of your business.

Doing Life Together in Turbulent Times

Doing Life Together in Turbulent Times

Doing Life Together in Turbulent Times

“Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end.”
Hebrews 12:2

For our daughter-in-law’s 30 th  birthday, we planned a sunset cruise, four hours together “when the
afternoon sun brings a special magical hue to the majestic Na Pali Coast.”

Except when it doesn’t.

I don’t remember magical hues. I barely glimpsed the Na Pali Coast. I spent the entire time trying to
hold onto my stomach. Overlooked in the brochure’s beautiful photos were the words, “Come
prepared for the beauty, the motion and the ocean.”

More accurately stated: The motion of the ocean.

Ninety minutes into our four-hour adventure, our catamaran, The Lucky Lady, turned north into
turbulent seas. What was expected to be “about 10 minutes” of “choppy waters” became another 90
minutes of 10-foot swells. Remembering that I don’t do 10-foot swells, I grabbed the railing and
began praying. Please, God, no. Please, God, no. Waves of nauseousness rolled over me, sending
me and too many others scurrying for calm. But a 60-foot boat has no calm. And there was still the
return trip.

Fortunately, I never got sick. But I was so miserable that I scowled at the stunningly beautiful
coastline and thought, Now can we go home?

I’d lost my focus. As my older son, Kyle, reminded me, “Mom, you just gotta keep your eyes on the
shore. Stay focused on something.”

At first I’d closed my eyes in an effort to avoid what I didn’t want to see. Then as the boat crashed
through the waves, I closed my eyes as salt water drenched us. Both left my stomach lurching.

We all survived the adventure, but honestly, we needed about 24 hours before we could laugh about
it. The next night we attended a luau, grateful for the chance to enjoy the special magical hue to an
old majestic plantation.

It’s the start to a new year. I have the best of intentions, great resolutions, wonderful goals for 2020. I
also know that with the beauty will come the motion of the ocean. There will be turbulence and
splendor, but God is with us. My husband, Kurt, never left my side on the boat, even holding my just-
in-case (but thankfully, not necessary) bucket for a time. In life God never leaves our side. He is our
calm in choppy waters, the peace that surpasses all understanding, that majestic place in life. What
a focus! What a spectacular vista!

Deanna Nowadnick

Before my father died, he reminded me that Mom had asked me to write a book. At the time the boys were in college, and the notion of writing was unfathomable. Writers write books. By the time my boys were adults, I’d run out of excuses. I was also at that age when I could pause and reflect.

Fruit of My Spirit: Reframing Life in God’s Grace was my first publishing endeavor. My second was Signs in Life: Finding Direction in Our Travels with God. Both are collections of stories that tell of God’s love and faithfulness. Both tell of His remarkable grace and mercy.

When not writing, I serve as the Client Service Coordinator for The Planner’s Edge, an investment advisory firm in Washington state. I’m active in my church, serving on the Leadership Team and gathering with a wonderful group of ladies to study and giggle over lattes and chocolate. On my desk is a rock with the words “Choose Joy!” etched in it. It’s my inspiration for each day. As an author, it is my hope that my own words might share that joy we find together as children of God.

With Him, it can be so.

Life As Teacher

Life As Teacher

Life As Teacher

Learning Is Not Optional
Whether we want to or not, we spend our entire life learning from every sensation, experience,
concept, and person. We can be open to learning new things naturally like a child. Or we can think
we have certain things figured out and nailed down, and we close our mind to learning something
new. Closing our minds to something new leads us to learn a lesson the hard way, often involving
pain and struggle. Learning is not an option. We will learn either way.

Life As Teacher
To accept ‘Life as Teacher,’ we understand that everything and everyone is our teacher, including
ourselves. We can become curious about what is happening inside and outside of us. We can ask
for Wisdom. Our Soul, as connected to Source, will show us the Truth.

We learn when life is going well. We learn even more when life is not going the way we expected. I
have learned to experience well-being with deep gratitude and to experience pain with open curiosity.
Pain can be a good teacher. However, we need to learn the lesson pain teaches us and then release
the pain, so it does not get stuck in our body or psyche.

Choose Your Wisdom Journey
We create our lives. Sometimes we face a crisis of limitation which challenges us. This crisis can
come at any age or stage of development. Most importantly, we must handle the situation with love
and care. Eventually, we come to a crossroads. We can ignore or not seek to understand the
lesson. Or we can choose to enter a Wisdom Journey and learn something new and grow through
the crisis. This process can take days, months, or even years.

Holly’s Failure Transformed Into Success
Holly called to arrange a session with me. Holly felt a sense of failure from her past, and as a result,
she was fearful of moving forward with a new business venture. She wanted to remove any blocks
that would limit her success. With eyes closed and in a relaxed state, I asked Holly to recount
memorable failures in her life. As she named each ‘failure,’ I asked, “What did you learn? And how
did it strengthen you?” After our session, Holly said to her business partner, “I cannot fail! Whatever
I learn will strengthen me!”

At our next session, Holly experienced the upcoming business meeting at the inner mind level,
inviting each member of the Trinity to assist her. She practiced how she would walk in, where she
would sit and what she would say. The day of the meeting arrived. Holly had all the confidence she
needed to dominate the conversation, insist on the terms of the agreement, and win the contract for
her new business venture!

My Life Lessons so far….
Since I have been open to life as teacher, here are some transformative concepts I have learned.

  • I now understand my Mom and Dad did the best they could with the tools and knowledge they
had. (As do I with my children and grandchildren.)
  • My Dad would have been there for me as a child if he could have been.
  • Realizing parenting is hard, I grew in compassion for my Mom, and we became best friends.
  • I became comfortable with drama from growing up in chaos. When I learned to take 100%
responsibility for my life, creating outward drama stopped.
  • I am also learning not to project my inner drama. I acknowledge and resolve life-draining
    emotions.
  • I forgive myself for everything. I accept I did, and I am doing the best I can with the tools and knowledge I have.
  • I accept all aspects of who I am, both the limiting and empowering characteristics, behaviors, and traits.
  • I celebrate my Divine Soul. I deeply value knowing My Soul suffers with me as I continue to
    evolve in Love.
  • I am grateful for my Highest Good and the Highest Good of Others.

Some Life Lessons For You To Consider

  • Everything is for our formation.
  • Everything belongs.
  • Everyone is doing the best they know to do.
  • Everyone is on their Path and timeline.
  • Everything we need is inside of us.
  • Giving and receiving Love is the whole point of being here now, always and forever.
  • Humankind is evolving toward Love.
