We had an amazing response to our journaling post. Our community loves journaling and we had some great feedback. We wanted to share a list of 50 journal prompts we have gathered will spark thoughtfulness, creativity, and introspection.
1. Write a letter to your older self.
2. Write about your childhood.
3. Write about lost friendships.
4. What frightens you?
5. What brings you joy?
6. What makes you sad?
7. What worries you? Is there a pressing problem you need to work out?
8. Write a letter to someone that upset you, but you aren’t ready to confront in person.
9. Write down the things you wished you had said to your parents or other loved ones before they passed away.
10.Write down confessions of your deep-down secrets that you can’t tell anyone.
11.Where do you want to be 5, 10, or 15 years from now?
12.What line of work do you plan on pursuing in the future?
13.Write down how you can improve your life.
14.Write letters to your children and grandchildren that you can give to them when they are older. These letters will help them understand the type of person you were at their age.
15.Write about places you wish to see, the vacations you plan to have.
16.Write about home improvements you would like to make.
17.Make a bucket list.
18.Write a list of 5 things you love about yourself, and why they make you unique.
